Kirpi tool – What is it?

Sharing is caring!

There are so many common weeding tools on the market today, but what I have here for you is one a little more exotic and unknown, the Indian Kirpi.

What is a Kirpi?

This is a traditional Indian gardening tool and is a multi-use tool. The curved blade has numerous uses including hand hoeing and cutting vegetation.

Then there is a pointed tip on the bottom of the tool that is useful for raking out and attacking pesky roots.

Also, the back of the curved blade is serrated so you can saw through thicker weeds and branches. So essentially this thing is a really useful multi-function weeder before fancy marketing lingo came along!
